Global Heat Treat Summit & MTI Fall Meeting a Huge Success

This past week, over 200 people attended the MTI Fall Meeting and the Global Heat Treat Summit in Chicago, Illinois. Every segment of the heat treating industry was represented with suppliers, commercial heat treaters and captive manufacturers. Members came from as far away as the UK and Australia to take part in this first of its kind event. Each of the 12 speakers delivered presentations that were very relevant to today's heat treating and business operations to help members strategically plan for the next 3 to 5 years. Photos of the event will be released in next week's news. Comments made by many attendees were:

"I've only heard the first 4 speakers and if I left right now, I have received a great value for being here. The speakers were excellent."

"It is very exciting to have so many members from so many places to network with."

"This is one of the most organized and well put together events I've seen from the heat treating industry in years."

"As a supplier, this was a huge event for us because many of our customers are here and many companies we don't do business with are here. Very cost effective means for us to network with potential clients."

These are just a few of the comments that speak to the effort and organization that went into ensuring members received the information they needed to plan for the coming years in heat treating.

Next up is MTI's Winter Meeting in Lake Tahoe and Spring General Meeting in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
