Tenova Core resumes work at Severstal Columbus facility
Tenova Core has been contracted to design and supply a melt shop material handling system as part of the Severstal North America Phase II project at its Columbus facility.
The project features an EAF flux charging system and a LMF VOD alloy and flux material feed system as well as a HBI feed system. Tenova Core is also supplying some of the equipment for the carbon injection system, including the carbon material storage silo and first transport vessel.
All systems will be designed to efficiently and reliably feed the melt shop process equipment. Conveyors, storage silos, bins, vibratory feeders and injection vessels are included in the scope of supply.
